Bloggers Wanted

Like to travel?  Like to write?  Like to travel and write and get paid for it?

Well, it’s your lucky day.  The Guardian has just announced their search for a couple of new Netjetters.   The British newspaper is looking for two people to travel the world and blog about their experiences for the newspaper’s online site.  The paper is willing to pay up to £2,000 towards the trip and also equip the travelers with a Fuji S9500 camera, a Nokia 6630 3G camera phone and a laptop computer.  Pretty sweet!

The Guardian is looking for two specific types of travelers: a “green” traveler whose journey will embrace the theme of eco-friendly travel and a “gray” traveler who is over 50 years old (and who hopefully knows what a blog is).  Check out one of their last Netjetters, Andrew, whose theme was economy travel.

The entry deadline for this year’s Netjetters is April 7.  So, pen your essays quickly as travel begins in June!
