Virtual Gettysburg

I wish more places around the country, historical spots as well as just general tourism area would do these kinds of QuickTime Virtual Reality tours. This one of Gettysburg is particularly cool, and allows you to basically sit down and go though all th major tours of the famous battleground site.

Of course, this is by no means a substitute for heading there yourself and standing at the base of the hill where Pickett's Charge took place, it makes a great teaching device to shot kids and yourself what the place actually looks like, and the joy of spinning around in a VR world, well, that just lights up the geek in me.
