Time Lapse Grand Central
Pretty cool and quick video from Grand Central Station. Sort of a Koyaanisqatsi effect going here. But it's really cool and worth
checking out. I'd love to see even more places around the city be treated with this effect. I was shooting in Grand Central recently myself, but got kicked out for not getting as
shooting permit. I was halfway through shooting a panorama when a cop came up and told me I needed a permit from the
mayor's office to set down a tripod. Bummer.
For some reason, Grand Central has been all in the news
lately. Nat Geo did a big piece on it, and the Times did some stuff. It's good the place is getting some props. It's
one of the more interesting buldings around and a real nexus or confluence point for humanity.
