Conservative Muslim parents will worry no more as the anti-Barbie has arrived. At least some of them won’t. Her
name is Fulla and she will brighten the eyes of young Muslim girls across the globe this season or next month’s Eid
al-Adha season. Fulla is quite opposite of Barbie and wears her hijab and ankle-length coat when stepping outside her
home. Her hair is thick and dark and her eyes are far from the color blue. Though one would imagine joy and happiness
filling the heart of all Arab parents the Sydney Morning Herald
claims Syrian creators, New Boy Toys have generated mixed feelings across the Middle East. Guess there is no pleasing
everyone and I’m surprised Fulla hasn’t been around longer. Or has she?
Just thought to toss this one out
there who might be interested or knows a young girl to which Fulla would make the perfect companion. I’m sure there are
many doll fanatics looking to add this one to their global doll collection.
