There are some great hostels in Portland... I stayed in one that was the size of a small house. It was almost like a stranger sleepover... we shared bathrooms and everything.

Go to Powell's tonight, get a cup of coffee and a muffin in the cafe, pull out a good book (or laptop) and chill out.
