You know you want to go to Australia next year — just book it now and worry about the specifics later. Qantas Airlines has just announced a stellar anniversary sale, but you must act fast to take advantage of these super low fares. Flights from LA/SF to Sydney/Auckland cost $798 RT for travel between May 1, 2006 and June 6, 2006. Rates go up for departures in February and March, or if you add additional stop overs. Fares are also higher from other US cities, but these are still great low prices to consider. And even though these are winter deals, OZ and NZ are fantastic spots to escape to in any season. This deal runs for five days only so take some time right now to plan your downunder getaway for 2006.
