Another Fodor's list posted this week was 15 Great American B&B's and I was pleasantly surprised to see Baltimore's Inn at 2920 at the top of the list. I've never stayed here, but I've been to the Canton neighborhood where this urban B&B is located many, many times. I would definitely suggest a stay here on your next visit to Baltimore, for a more authentic Charm City experience than the Inner Harbor chain hotels can offer. The Inn provides some unique services, catering to niche groups such as business travelers and those with allergies. It also offers private cooking lessons.

But be sure to get out and eat in the neighborhood too. The Inn at 2920 is only a block off of Canton Square, with plenty of restaurants and boutiques in close proximity, and great views of the harbor only a few blocks further on foot. Great places to eat are Nacho Mamas, Helen's Garden and Birches. If you feel like shopping, 2910 on the square has an eclectic collection of gifts to choose from.
