Moon Facelift
The Web site for the respected Moon Guides, which we've reviewed here before, gets a facelift,
and the results are pretty good. The design is fresh, albeit a little bland, but the access to the books themselves…the
point after all…is quick and easy. I'm a fan of Moon's guides and have used them for several trips now. I am also
beginning to look at Road Trip USA, a monster of a book that they put out, to see if I can finagle some kind of epic
adventure out of it.
They have also launched a new participatory blog (another one of these things?!) called
Real Travel, where you can post a journal while on the road, read
other people's experiences, and so on. I didn't sign up, but I'll keep my eye on it to see how it grows. They were also
kind enough to give us some props, adding gadling to their links
section. Thank you!
