Introducing Chorks

chork

I've gone on here before about the wonders of the spork, but now I've discovered that the future of cutlery is headed in an entirely new direction. Watch out spork lovers — there's a new eating utensil gaining admiration and praise around the world.

That's right, our very own Gadling photo pool friend and reader, Newley Purnell has developed a prototype for chorks, an adaptation of the chopstick that actually succeeds at getting those very smallest bits of food from plate to mouth with ease. When Newley read that the Chinese astronauts (who just completed their five day trip) would not be able to use chopsticks in space, he knew that things were beginning to look up for his chorks. Although regular chopsticks may not be designed for orbit, Newley's ingenious invention sounds like the perfect futuristic eating stick.
