I went on an airboat tour of the Everglades recently, and the tour guide told us that they often see pythons. Evidently, people buy pythons, decide they can't keep them, and then dump them in the 'glades. The pythons thrive, and then -- well, you see what happens. The point is: don't buy a python. Unless you're a zoo.
