It was a gator, not a croc, but I love this creepy story. As the biologists point out, it proves that the pythons introduced into the everglades are thriving, and that in many cases they are an even match for the other tough guys of the swamp. I'm not the first to come up with this, but it a clear case of Alien vs. Predator.
