Catacurian Cooking School

figsI am going to guess you've never considered going to Catacurian Cooking School. You probably don't even know what it is. I confess I didn't. Well, it's a place to learn to secrets (and there are many) of Catalan Spanish cooking, all easily doable within a week or so.

The course takes place in El Masroig, a tiny mountain village in the Priorat region of Catalonia in Spain. You are given a elegant little room and your hosts are experts in the ancient cuisine of the Catalans. This means lots of barbeque and seafood and, of course, wine. Here's a list of the courses you will learn how to serve.

For more information check out this site. Rates start at $1,500 for three days, including meals, wine, ground transportation, lodging, and more.
