Erik, where does one go to see all of the pictures you took in Armenia? I'm an Armenian-American from Turkey, and I've never been to Armenian, but I'm very curious about this little country. I have Armenian-American friends and relatives who have been there, and they've all had very positive experiences. But it's really interesting to get the perspective of someone who is not Armenian and who had no expectations before going there. It really validates what I had heard from the Armenian-Americans. Now, thanks to your reporting, I really really want to go even more than ever before. BTW, what struck me is how easily you were able to make friends with so many total strangers in a totally strange land. You often seemed to attribute that to the friendliness of the local Armenians, but I'm guessing that you must also be a very nice person too.
Thank you so much for reporting your adventures in Armenia, and for being such an obviously open-minded and accepting person.
