Adventure Divas: New Book
As you can probably tell, (I've been writing here at Gad for just over a month now) I'm super interested in travel
books and publishing. I just can't help but report on new travel titles that I hear about. I'm fascinated by the topics
and issues that travelers choose to tackle when they recount their journeys in print.
So here's another travel title to start off the week. In Adventure Divas: Searching the Globe for a
New Kind of Heroine, author and producer Holly
Morris, chronicles the events and stories that shaped her travels while filming her ground-breaking
PBS series Adventure Divas. (Erik
mentioned these gals once before; Unfortunately, I've
never seen the show.) Holly's book will be released next week. She kicks off her
book tour on October 4 in New York, then heads
to Chicago.
