In general the food is very much like India's, BUT there were a few exceptions. (I spent a semester in Bdesh in college.) For one thing, I got some sheikh kabob (or however it's spelled) like NO OTHER in Bdesh -- crispy, spicy, tasty. I keep ordering it Indian joints here in the US hoping for the same thing but no dice; it's always just a nasty log of lamb. But man, in Bangladesh... we'd get a couple of those great kabobs, a pile of naan, and a bottle of Coke for like $2.00. It made us sick half the time but it was worth it. SO worth it.
