About the Evac-U8 Smoke Hood:

Actually quite a few people get snuffed from the fumes coming of the smoldering and burning interior and the fumes and toxic crap coming off of it. I'll be damned if I'm not one of the first 5 people out of that plane when it goes down.
I don't generaly worry about it cause 90% of the time I'm in the window seat at the overwing emergency exit. If I can't get that I'm in that same row or right behind it.

I might want on for the cockpit in a smaller plane if I'm flying (yes, I'm licensed).
I'm still not going buy one to put in my carry on for regular commerical flights. {smirk}
