The word motel often times is depicted as a low-budget truck stop, just got kicked out of
my girlfriend's place, scene of a seedy crime, or basically a place to take
care of your dirty laundry. That's how people typically end up in motels at the movies, but let's talk
booking in advance as this may be the perfect opportunity.
MSNBC has one of the most superb roadside, budget travel lists on some very cool motels. Know if you'll be roadtrippin' to Mt. Tremper, NY or Marfa, Texas? Plan your travels well and you can find yourself fooling around with almost ancient gadgets, record players, LP's, and a type writer at the Thunderbird in Marfa or score a chic 50's designed room fixed up by Kate Pierson of the B-52's at the Lazy Meadow in Mt.
