Best podcast yet! You asked great questions, and they supplied solid, interesting information. I've wanted to do a lengthy-ish, round-the-world trip for some time, and this podcast inspired me even further.
Something I think was UNDERemphasized on the podcast is how cheap so many places overseas are: choose carefully, and you can live like a king (or queen) for a fraction of your living expenses in the U.S. For example, I spent 3 months in Southern Africa and spent under $2000, including airfare!
Thanks, also, for mentioning volunteering while traveling. Doing good while enjoying yourself makes the experience MUCH more worthwhile. And for those concerned that they can't take off time because it'll damage a career, think: you can list volunteer activities on a resume!
