Tips For Traveling With Your Camera

I remember the first time I managed to get sand in every working part of my first Canon at the Nikonbeach.  The sunset I had just captured would never see the light of day as the camera just kept making grinding sounds from the sand.  Even though that incident dates many years back, I still can't forgive myself.  And on top of that I make sure to take much better (probably over-the-top) care of my camera while traveling.

There is a great article on travel gear tips when on the road to help minimize the risk of loss or damage.  It offers some pretty basic and almost beginner tips to handling your gear, but there are a few things you might wish to consider.
