Bush's nomination of Paul Wolfowitz to lead the World Bank has attracted a lot of criticism from people who don't believe the architect of the Iraq War has the chops or compassion to lead the global institution. But according to Reuters, Wolfy, playing diplomat, has apparently checked in with U2 lead singer Bono to win the rock star-cum-global-activist's blessings…or perhaps just to have him sign his copy of Joshua Tree.
