Nye on America's PR Prob
Along the lines of an earlier entry on anti-Americanism and business, respected Harvard Prof
and writer Joseph Nye writes about the
Bush adminstration's severe need for better PR abroad as both America's image and American business are affected by the
seemingly pervasive anti-American sentiments overseas. His remedy:
Most important in the current situation will be the development of a long-term strategy of cultural and educational exchanges aimed at developing a richer and more open civil society in Middle Eastern countries.
And then following up on a similar topic, the Guardian (via Salon) talks about the ex-Presidents (no not the superheroes) efforts to imporove the US image via their Tsunami relief efforts.
