Pop culture doesn't always come off as an adventure travel topic and surfing MTV's
website isn't a 
place I would normally go looking for adventure travel subjects, but surprisingly I found
some. Don't get me wrong, I love pop culture! Plan your next vacation in their travel section where
they have some
dazzling, flash,
polaroid snapshots for every kind of traveler. Click into festivals to find a month-to-month guide of
cool happenings around the globe (mostly music) or look at some of their reccommended travel gadgets. The
folks there are always so trendy.

I can do without all the flash (I'm not that trendy anymore :-) but was pleasantly surprised with what I found there, I got some good ideas from the festivals section. Thanks! If you find other sites that list world festivals and events, especially for 2006, please post about them, it helps wanderlusts like me looking to plan long term travel around special events.
