The Online Larimar Museum
If you don't see yourself traveling to Sant Domingo, Dominican Republic anytime soon, you might 
want to check out this online museum, especially if you are a stone enthusiast. The Larimar Museum is the only one of its kind found in the Dominican Republic as the vulcanic blue stone can only be mined on the island. Even if you are not to hip to stones and gems the site provides some great historical information on its discovery, formation and mining in the country. And it sure is pretty.

Good site, but the real museum is better, although somewhat small.
