Rough Time in the Philippines
Tough Trip.
Reading about Rick Green's bus trip across Philippines I was reminded of a trip I took way back when on the altiplano of Peru, when the floor dropped out of the bus over a dusty road, but the driver continued on anyway so that soon, the entire bus was almost choking to death on road dust. This then continued for 9 hours and we emerged caked with enough dust and sand to pretty much build out own beach. Anyway, in this story Green gets caught in the "fury of a tropical storm" but makes it to Manila alive. You'll enjoy this and some of the other stories Rick has posted on his site.
