The India Fad - Here We Go Again
I got back from India about three months ago and I met probably six people who were in to some new age health treatment called ... heck, I don't even remember what it's called. At the time, I thought it was just coincidence that I ran into so many folks looking for miracle cures to their existential ills. Turns out...it's a big fad! Yup, everyone's heading to India nowadays to take part in...ah, here it is, it's called Ayurveda. "An ancient Indian healing practice that uses herbal remedies". That was it. Hey, I don't mean to pooh-pooh this kind of thing so cavalierly. It worked for the Beatles. For a while anyway. So, forgive me if you're easily insulted. Just seems like folks are always in search of the next great "natural" healing solution. Anyway, way off track here. Read the article. Check out India if you have the time. I guarantee you will not regret doing that.

actually in India at least, Ayurveda is not a new fangled trend. It has been around for a very long time (think centuries). Also, homeopathy is popular in India as well. What is "new" about this is probably the fact that Westerners are picking up on it.

Suresh, I was mocking the Westerners who go to India looking for miracle cures and things that are "exotic". Diden't mean to dis Ayurveda, per se.
