Tom Wheeler is my hero! Wow, what a life and what a job. If he's ready to retire, I'd be happy to take over. I have dozens of the Lonely Planet books and rely on them for all my travel needs. When you're done with your trip, they're great reference books or can be passed on to others who yearn to travel. I've lived in 4 countries and have visited 22 - looking to do more to use my nature photography skills and creative writing skills. They're great books for avid and novice travelers!
